Wow

Three letters.
One word.
And that is supposed to be a 'response' to a discussion.
Am I supposed to 'like' that?
Am I supposed to comment "Yeah, I know, that was so wowsy!!!"
Should I turn it upside down and think it is an afterlife message from Mom?
I think I'll just ignore it and see if it goes away...

Wow
Fooled you, know what you mean. Why even comment. I guess you can always try to come up with some brilliant response to get them to actually say something, but then and only then do they choose not to comment. Funny how that works.

I'm sure someone left a similar comment on one of my discussions. I too, decided to ignore it.
There was never any meaningful interaction with that Mylotter. I felt no curiosity to read their discussions.

It looked like they specialized in one and two-word responses

Things don't usually go away if you just ignore them. It won't work with Scar, for example.
There are two positive steps you could take, however.
1) Report such responses and comments as being against the Guidelines.
2) Delete the response yourself (if you are the 'owner' of the discussion).

I know, I was being facetious. I'll probably just end up deleting it.
(Edit) - Wow...it went away all on its own

@JolietJake The poster deleted his own no-content comment?

Is this the part where I say "You're welcome"? I'm still not sure how this works...

Not sure what to say to that. I do not think I have been "wow"ed lately, but I am behind on my comments to responses, so I may have been when I was not looking.

Maybe the person has a fear of the alphabet, or maybe fear of long words?

Wow.
Which, spelled backwards, is "wow."
How wowsy is that?
Maybe it's a dysfunctional Helen Reddy song, I am wowman hear me roar.
No, you're right, ignore it.

@andriaperry I remember getting comments like that at Bubblews after writing posts about horrible things. I once confronted somebody about it and he actually came back and promised to change. It never happened though, but he did stop posting at Bubblews shortly after that.
