I copy/pasted this entire discussion!

I mean, I see other people doing it, so I wanted to do it too!
I wanted to know how it feels to copy a bunch of text and paste it as my very own discussion.
And you know what?
It feels rather boring.
I mean, seriously.
Where is the excitement in copy/pasting?
It probably would have been easier to just type the discussion at myLot instead of writing it in notepad and then copy/pasting it to here...

Make money fool, that is the excitement. We steal do boring things to make money. Sad but true. Why I say the capitalistic system needs an over haul. Please don't tell capitalists because makes them mad.

I'd been watching a user, I figured they'd be gone fairly soon and yep, they got the boot this morning

@singhisback The fact that I have to write it and then copy paste it here. Why do that when I can write it down directly here?

Either my discussions are more interesting than I thought or one user that was banned was just THAT lazy!

@BarBaraPrz Yes one of mine. I didn't even know until someone messaged me about it. The person who did it was banned quickly.

But you have to scramble the English a bit so nobody will notice you copied.

Some do a lot of research and type it into a document first. That way they can leave it to simmer and go back to it for editing. Sounds a bit like making a stew.

Wow, that is unique, but as you said boring. If it has to be boring I guess it should be my boring not someone else's.

How about those people (not necessarily on MyLot) who copy someone's content word for word, and then go and replace some words with theirs, thinking no one will find out that they stole someone's content. Happened to me when my HubPages content was stolen and published elsewhere.

For some people copy/pasting stuff from notepad prevents the mysterious disappearance of content. . . but I do not do it. I agree that copy/pasting requires no brain work. I think it would take me longer to find something worthy to plagiarize than it would to make up my own stuff.

I agree there is no excitement in copy and pasting things and it is not right to take something that is not yours
