Added Hoopla

As if I had nothing to do this week, I've received a few new surprises.
First, Doodles will have his sister, Kuma, in the above photo, staying with us as our house guest until November 18th, when my son and his soon to be wife return from their honeymoon. She will arrive tomorrow, Tuesday.
Second, our older son will be arriving by train on Wednesday evening and will be our houseguest until his brother's wedding on Friday. He is the best man. He plans on working from our home all day Thursday. His wife will arrive in their car for the wedding. She has to stay home with our grandchildren and take them to ice practices after school.
I wasn't planning on this added hoopla, but am looking forward to it! My hubby and I would do anything to help out our boys. This is nothing!

@DianneN We have five too but I definitely want to downsize! A one bed roomed house in the middle of a forest on an island would be better but well we shall see. You are very welcome!

It was a wonderful hoopla as it turned out. We went out to dinner after we picked him up from the train station, and he worked all day on Thursday from his old bedroom. The groom came for a long visit the night before the wedding and we ordered dinner. Taking care of the cats kept me busy! Boy, are they ever a lot of work!

I think that sounds wonderful, it is nice to have your son back in your house even if it is just for a night ,a little mom and son one on one. I know this is going to be just the best week ever.

It will be nice to have your son stay with you in midst of all the hoopla. Now you can hog him to yourself before his wife arrives for the wedding. I'm sure this week will go by super fast so let me extend congratulations ahead of time on your sons marriage. I'm amazed that you found time to write this post

We will enjoy alone time with our son without the usual fanfare. Many thanks! Everything is under control and out of my hands at this point. I begin my beauty treatments tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday. You definitely won't hear from me on the day of the wedding! Lol!

@Marilynda1225 Lol! I have lots to discuss right now, but no time to respond. My next post will most likely be after the wedding and the brunch the following day. I'm so darn excited!!!! I will most likely post the bride's magnificent gown first. I'm definitely a runner up.

Oh my goodness Kuma is cute! There always does seem to be some last minute commotion somewhere when there are these big events - but I'm happy it's all good stuff

I'm so sorry and hope you feel better now. Not to worry. I'm so behind I have considered quitting myLot! My son was wonderful as always, but worked from his old bedroom all day Thursday. Literally. The female cat hid for a bit, as usual, but they get along well. Thank goodness! I wouldn't have been able to take any nonsense then! lol

Sounds exciting. Having time to spend with your family, and then your sons wedding. And at least it is a Cat while they are gone, and not a child or something else while they are gone.

Kuma is cute. I thought I would be babysitting my uncle's new kitten. But Lily didn't like him and my uncle's "friend" decided to babysit the kitten.
