I grew up with my parents who happened to look us in the eyes everytime they want to know truth. At work, I usually look at the eyes of my working friends everytime they tell me stories How about you? Do you see peoples true feelings in their eyes? Photo from google search

@LadyDuck @m_audrey6788 @marlina @jobelbojel @dgobucks226 @ebanreb I once had an 11-year-old pupil, a cute and charming girl, who could look at people without flinching and lie in a way you wouldn't believe. Classmates and grown-ups fell for her lies. I'm going to write about her one day.

Yes, I usually look at people in their eyes when I talk with them, Eye contact during conversation certainly reflects whether the interlocutor speaks truth and also reflects his personality.

I think parents are endowed with special qualities to read a child untruthful mess in his/her eyes but otherwise the whole body demeanour of the person shows their true colours.

It usually works, but not all people have the same 'pattern'. It takes some experience, your parents surely knew how to spot your lies after some experience. I adapted so bad I look more honest when I tell a lie.

The truth is she always tell us that "She can read us like a book from front to back, Better tell me the truth or you`ll hate me if I find out that you`re lying" Scared to hate her because of lying better tell her the truth than be sorry later

I have a co-worker who tells me everything I need to know about a situation just based on his eyes. He thinks I'm clairvoyant because I always know what he is thinking or feeling. He has no idea that I can read his eyes like a book!

@m_audrey6788 No, I'm not a psychiatrist! Believe it or not, I once took a class in college that dealt with communication, and we spent a great deal of time on learning how to read and interpret non-verbal communication (i.e. body language and facial expressions). I was fascinated by the subject, so even after all these years I still remember most of what I learned in that class.

I see tthrough their eyes and body language. It's so common at the U.S embassy in my home country. They look straight into your eyes and watch your body language during the visa interview to tell maybe you are truthful or lying.
