Yep. I ain't got a stitch of anti-virus or adblocker on at all. I've never run anti-virus here, but I've been using an adblocker (an AdBlocker Plus extension on Chrome) for my desktop for a long time. I began using it when we had all the problems with pop-ups/redirects about a year ago, then left it enabled because it seemed to take the ads forever to load here and it was really slowing me down. But I turned it off almost 3 hours ago to see if the redirect problem was affecting desktop computers. So far, nothing has happened...but it seems the pages are loading a LOT quicker than what they used to, so unless I start getting pop-ups/redirects, I'm gonna leave it switched off. We'll see how it goes...

Do not expect to see one after a few hours, they are rare on a laptop. I have no adblocker, and I have not had 1 pop-up on discussions since more than 1 month. I got a bad one on a redirecting page a few days ago.

I have no adblockers, I only use a pop-up blocker. I switched off several days ago to see if I had a pop-up/redirect problem. but nothing so far.

Fully loaded protection, but using 'Ghostery' which allows you to choose which trackers to allow and which to stop.... also quite appropriate for this time of year!

Honestly, I don't know what I have on. We just changed providers and with that we lost anti-virus protection from McAffee. But I know I also have malaware-bytes and I keep getting a message from Windows Blocker or something telling me that it is running. I don't know. After changing providers and having to change my email address and trying to change it EVERYWHERE, I'm just plain fed up with the computer and internet.

I haven't had many problems on my Mac using Firefox, other than NCIS has decided Firefox isn't good enough for it to play anymore.

Here its a case of using antr-virus or get loads of unwanted stuff. I often feel like leaving it switched off also lots of bugs though if I don´t.

Sometimes, it happens for various reasons. We can not say with definiteness that the problem is due to this reason or that.. You should feel happy for not going out.
