My day was changed and now I have much lighter tasks. I thought that I would have to go and get my 2 grandchildren to school and give them lunch, but finally Claudia just called telling me that her husband could go for the kids.
I said fine and they will miss today´s lunch. She was curious.
I am roasting pork tenderloin with small potatoes over a bed of onions. And a salad, of course. So she invited herself for lunch
Anyway, I will be able to do some gardening. Leticia is already watering the garden before the sun is too hot. We are experiencing a heat wave now. But I don´t mind that as much as I mind the cold.
How about you? Which do you prefer?

She did. She called me not to worry to go and get her children from school but when she knew what I was having, she said that she´d come for lunch instead

@LadyDuck While this course is on, she has no time to cook much. I bet they are living on boiled pasta and some sauce out of a jar

I can live with hot climate as it gets here (33° C). But I don´t like cold.

If I had to choose between cold and hot I would much rather be warm as opposed to cold. Right now it is getting ready to be winter here and I am already hating it.

The very cold weather is what I prefer for myself but for people in this area that suffer from chest problems it can get to be quite bad as the frosts are very harsh and not good for that kind of condition.
Very nice lunch you had and I hope you enjoyed all of it too.

I don´t mind heat too much. Specially now that I am retired. But cold is something I dread. And I don´t like to pay for the extra bill for heating.

I think I prefer cold to hot but we don't really get extremes of either. Perhaps I'd change my mind if we had weeks of freezing temperatures. I might invite myself for lunch too!
