Her own cat turned her in to the law

Now, I know that there are a lot cat lovers on myLot, and I'm not saying that all cats would do this, but a little newspaper item caught my eye the other day. Maybe the cat did not mean to "rat her out." There was this woman in Brookings, Texas who did not receive support from her husband, so she blamed the Texas State Attorney General, had applied for Social Security benefits and was denied, so she blamed the Social Security Commissioner. She also decided that she did not like President Obama, so she mailed explosive devices to all three. The former attorney general of Texas was now the Governor. He actually opened the package in some way that luckily did not trigger the bomb. The thing is, though the packages were mailed anonymously, there was hair from her cat under the tape used to seal the packages. Other evidence was found in her home. I wonder where she learned to make these devices? I hope that the cat was passed along to someone with no lethal intentions to bomb anyone.

The cat obviously was an accomplice. Very sure of that.

@JamesHxstatic Well I'm afraid he'd have to be taken to the Cats Court for that one.

@cahaya1983 I suppose you are right. There might be something fishy about that court though.

She sounds mentally unhinged, and it's amazing that she could be caught because of her cat.

I read about this story. What a crazy woman! But I guess that in her mind, desperate times call for desperate measures. I hope the cat goes to a good home.

Even if she had a dog with long hair she would have encountered the same problem, the cat is not to blame.
