Friendship, Cookbook, Thank You! I Love It!

Today I started to decorate for Xmas and I had a special delivery come to my door. A cookbook from my far away friend I have never met. My friend here on MyLot. I havea collection of church and school cookbooks which I started collecting 34 years ago. THANK YOU my friend for parting with your book to make my heart happy. I will enjoy reading it tonight and can't wait to make a recipe from it. You made my day Kharla Jolly! xxoo. P.S. BelleStar the red mug on the tray your son Jason gave me 25 years ago for Xmas. I use it every year and think of him.

I'm so happy that you like it, Paula! My grandma Dorthy Koehn, sister Sona Guzik, and mother Avis Vance, all have recipes in that cookbook. Enjoy, God is so good to his children!

@Ganma7 Awesome! And I'm so glad I got to meet you, also:) One recipe Grandma put in is 'Onion Pie.' My sister got upset and said that silly recipe shouldn't have been in this cookbook! LOL

@Ganma7 Many thanks. The flight seemed to have gone twice as fast because I fell asleep just after takeoff for 1 hour and 20 minutes!!! Emotionally and physically drained.
