Disability is not an excuse

This lady whobi know through another friend. Lets say i know her boyfriend and she had to be friends with me.
She messages me and asking about hee daughters cat. It stopped peeing 3 days ago and now stop eating.
I told her go to the vets immediately this cat will die without treatment. Her reply $150 vet fee to start then $400. So in other words the cats nothing and you just trying to make people feel sorry.
I said i always have money swt aside and if i don't have money i charge it to the credit cars. I couldn't live with myself kbowing my actions killed my cats.
She insisted its because she on disability. Well sorry but disability and welfare here the income is the same i bring in by ny job so i have 0 pity for her lame excuse. I told her we can't be friends because she just killed her cat and the fact she doesn't care it disturbing.

I am sure there are vets who will help in cases like this for people with low incomes

Many do. I have had some where i had x amount money but paid later. She claimed doctor wouldn't help. They left the cat too long and could of been an easy fix.

@BarBaraPrz yes, i asked a friend who worked with them. She said many times they wont give the money right away say i pay and they reimburse. But i still can't see the issue. I make the same working as per disability and i can still find a way to pay the vet bills. I have a savings account with some in it in case plus an emergency credit card. Shows how selfush they are. Now se keeps posting these posts how the vet killed her cat. No, you killed your cat. She now trying to raise money for the $250 outrageous fee she paid apparrntly. So i deleted her such a loser.

Oh God. Uremic poisoning. Its not easy paying for your animal's welfare but yes, the animal is an innocent depending on the human. Do NOT get an animal unless you can care for it totally. You know this but this kitty issue makes me scream. One of my cats has that issue. He is on a Vet diet- expensive but it just is. IF he acts like he can't go to the potty I have been told to haul him into the Vet. NO appointment. Just get him in. Its an emergency situation. I know about disabilities. We lived for over 20 years on very little income. Sorry for the rant. This just hurt.
