A Recycled Christmas Tree in the City

This morning, I don't have anything to do. ‘What is a perfect place is for you?’ Finally, I decided to roam around Camp John Hay, Baguio City, Philippines. There are some shops that offer a discounted price of their imported products. Before I entered the shops, I saw this 'recycled Christmas tree' and was located in front of the shops. This kind of Christmas tree will surely save our mother earth. The ‘recycled Christmas tree’ is made of used water plastic bottles. “Do you recycle things in your place?” “Have you ever tried to make a craft made of used materials?” Image Credit: Shavkat

I have never made a craft out of used materials but would probably try soon. I plan to make a dipper out of some recycled 1L plastic bottles from softdrinks. That christmas tree looks very creative though =)

@scarlet_woman I think it is a good idea. However, I assume they don't have the budget to buy solar energy lights.

I think it is nice to put some Christmas lights. But then, it will contradict its purpose.

This tree looks nice. I like to craft using recycled materials, there are plenty of things you can do with plastic bottles and even toilet paper rolls.

@LadyDuck I had visited a local hospital before. There are some used bottles created in different kinds of blooms.

I get so many of those when I am having parties. Some tinsels added would be a good idea.

do they have lights? it's kinda pale. if no lights, they could have painted some of the bottles in different colors.

I think it is fine to throw things. If someone has the skills of doing things like this, then I will donate it without second thoughts.

Nah, we don't practice that here because kids will have those plastic bottle sell them. Lol. On the first look, you can't see that they are made of plastic bottles. So far it is good.

I love that tree, that is so cool. They don't offer recycling in my apartments, and there really isn't a place to drop it off either.

I think we just need to keep the used materials in the proper recycle bins. It would be better to be systematic in saving our mother earth.
