For eons, women have often wondered why men seem to get 'sicker' than they do.
A woman can have a cold, but still go to work, clean the house, do laundry, tend the children, make three meals for the family, and all manner of things, while a man can get a cold and be bedfast for three entire days.
A startling new Scientific Theory may have the answer.
The Virus Gender.
It has long been common knowledge that most men are physically stronger than women.
A Startling New Study by the eminent Dr J.J. Jehoshaphat suggests that there may be male and female viruses.
The male virus...that mainly attacks male organisms...could theoretically be stronger than the female virus that attacks female organisms.
Therefore, while a man and a woman may both suffer from a cold virus, the male virus attacks the immune system with much more ferocity that the female virus.
While Science has yet to determine if different 'sexes' of viruses do exist, they have also been unable to determine if a virus is actually 'alive', since it does not seem to have most characteristics normally exhibited by 'life' as we know it to exist.
But after examining years of sickness in both men and women, Dr. Jehoshaphat has concluded this could be the reason why most times men get 'sicker'.

@JolietJake Not only wimps - but exceedingly gullible, or else liars.

Perhaps when women get very sick they are suffering from the male virus that normally only attacks men

Women don’t get those things because we’re “carriers.” Get around a loudmouth woman and you’ll see how sick you become.

Yup, a guy gets a hang-nail and you'd think his whole arm was dangling by a tendon. A woman gets a hang-nail and she just spits on it, puts on a band-aid and uses the other 4 fingers @JolietJake .

ACTUALLY... there is something about how women's immune systems respond to viruses as compared to how men's do. Genetically, women weren't allowed to loaf, they were still expected to gather food, cook it and all the other stuff they had to do. When a woman couldn't do that, and tried to, she was less likely to survive to reproduce so the stronger, healthier ones passed their genes on to their daughters. Quite possibly it is also some how connected to the "X" chromosome, meaning that men didn't pass on the trait to their sons, so... men do actually feel sicker than women. Now, note, I'm not saying they ARE sicker, just that they feel worse.

Nah... men are just big babies that want to be looked after, just like mommy did when they were little.

I've never heard this before, but who knows, it's very possible that it's true! Then why is it, when the man's good friend calls on the phone and wants to do something fun together, that sick man immediately feels a whole lot better
