Have You Ever Felt Like An Antique?

I am feeling as old as dirt. That's pretty old. I think I did too much getting things ready for Christmas dinner.
Originally we planned on there only being four of us sitting down to dinner. Suddenly, the day before we ended up with a crowd.
Don't ask me how it happened. It seems to go this way every year. We actually ended up with sixteen people.
It was a lot of last minute running around but it was worth it. We all had a wonderful time.
I have this thing about people being alone on a holiday like this. I don't like to think of anyone who has no family around and want to make sure they are not alone.
Anyway, it turned out to be a wonderful Christmas with lots of people and food. Everyone brought something.

Four times the amount you thought you'd have. Wow! Had a nice Christmas. It was quiet and I am thankful.

Though I didn't have to prepare for anything, this holiday season has made me walk and walk and walk way too much my knees hurt.

We went to my BIL for Christmas eve and had a really nice time there and dinner. Christmas day we both slept in, watched the snow come down til about noon or so, and then went somewhere nice and grabbed us something to eat. It was a really nice time.

You are wonderful for including those who may be alone during this time - the more, the merrier, right? I feel like Christmas was spread out throughout the month - but the actual day was nice as we spent a relaxing/eating day with my side of the family.

I only feel like an antique when it comes to keeping up with technology! Thankfully, I have two teenage kids who can keep pointed in the right direction when it comes to technology! lol
