Here in this manufactured home park, where we live with a few hundred other people over 55, we have a pretty spacious club house. It will seat about 120 people for dinner. Some new people on the committee for the clubhouse decided to use the limited wall space there (due to windows) to showcase the talents of residents. As a result, about a dozen of Anne's art quilts have been installed there for the next four months. There will be an "opening" Saturday afternoon and Anne will be on hand to give a short talk and answer questions. I helped hang the show on Sunday and it looks great. I am glad for this opportunity for Anne to show her work.

Congrats to Anne! Thanks to you I have met a very nice artist. I appreciate that. I admit to a bit of envy that she is so very good at handiwork. More power to her! Your park must be quite large. It sounds like quite a good place to live.

Generally, that is true about the park. I can't imagine how she plans and puts together these pieces. They take a lot time.

@JamesHxstatic They look like paintings not needle work. I'm not a mobile home park type person but yours sounds nice.

Actually she has sold three out of the show already. She is currently working on a large one about the plight of the homeless in the US.

It's just wonderful that your wife can spend time creating her art and sharing the beauty with others. She is so talented! I admire your help/support of her work too.

Thank you Diana. She did not sleep well last night, thinking about her presentation today, I guess.

They have dinners there once in a while, like Christmas, by some catering company, no regular meals there. We eat at home most of the time.
