Swimming exhausted me

It is barely 8:15 where I live. I wait up a certain length of time after eating to check my blood sugar and blood pressure. If not for that I would have gone to bed an hour ago. This is the first we have gone swimming since the middle of December. School was out part of that time, and the pump at the pool was not working part of that time and the heater in the pool had a problem. We took our students and went today. The water is still a little chilly so we played hard to stay warm. I am tired. Hubby is already in bed. After working today he came home and worked on beginning to remove the broken tree. The weather was nice enough to be outside. He has not done much that is physically challenging since before his pacemaker. He has to build his strength back up. So sorry guys. I will not work on notifications. I read a very few posts and responded. I am headed for bed.

You've been ill. You probably do need a lot of rest plus swimming is hard exercise.

I have not gained my energy back at all. We do more "playing" than swimming, with the students. We are working on teaching the skills, though.

@GardenGerty Playing in water is good. It helps the kids to be comfortable and not afraid when they are in the water. Are you eating plenty of protein? My husband craved protein after his heart surgery.

Hubby and I may start taking advantage of the open pool hours. He wants to regain his strength since his stroke and pacemaker.

I think it is still winter in your side. That's so impressive to swim in cold winter

It is winter still, you are right. The swimming pool is an indoor facility. We walk across a street and a big parking lot to get there.

Sweet dreams, I'm about to head that way myself, first though I have to appease the pets, they're hungry.

We had a full and fun day Saturday. I am tired a lot of the time. Winter does not really help.

I hope your husband doesn't overdue himself cutting up that tree.

He will take it easy. It is not going anywhere. We just got it out of the way. Actually used the van to do it.

Here it is Sunday, and I am tired again, or still. I would love to hibernate.

Removing a broken tree seems rather strenuous. Especially after a whole day on a job. He should take it easy and schedule the task when he does not have to go to work or hire somebody to do it.

Here it is Sunday. We hooked the van to the tree limb and pulled it to the back yard. He can take his time cutting it up with the chain saw.
