When the rain ruins your plans....

What a shame that the rain has ruined your plan! I hope you're able to make it some other time.

I hate it when rain spoils my plans, I used to like to hike but my knees are bad now so I can't.

When I was in my teen stage, I like hiking but now not anymore

I don't really like hiking as I am in my 70s now but I do enjoy walking. That's a fantastic picture. Maybe next week.

When I was younger, I loved to hike, especially in the mountains around my sister's house! (She owns three mountains in Arkansas. We can see them from our house but they are over 100 miles away from us.) One of the mountains my sister owns has a shallow cave in it. We find arrowheads and other stone tools around it when we have time to go there and relax. I LOVE your photo! Is that Pampas Grass in your photo or possibly Maiden's Hair? (We have Pampas Grass beside the sidewalk into our house.) Edit to add: Right now, we couldn't go hiking if we wanted to. It is winter here. Would you like to see what it looks like out my front door right now? That is my car buried in the new fallen snow. You can see my Pampas Grass just off the front porch. I can't add the photo! IDK why, either!

I hate it when rain completely ruine my plan. It turns moods off for my family and kids that's what makes me bad.

Did your hiking push through?

Feeling is bad if planned not fulfilled but rest assured there will be other better times

I don't hike, never have. Unless you count walking around big theme parks lol.

your photo is brilliant. I agree with you rain is a spoilsport whenever some outings are involved. The area gets muddy one has to carry umbrella and creates discomfort.

Next week. Go for it. I remember about few months ago, it was forecast heavy rains. But we went to the beach as had planned, anyway. We left at 6 am. It was showering when we arrived. Sun showed a bit. But we played, and got ourselves covered with wet sand while hubby took amazing, awesome photos in the rain-- at the beach.

Sorry to hear that but the weather isn't going to get any better for at least 2 or 3 days I guess. Seen those dark sky? It's all over the island. And people say there is sharks found on the island. With all these rain what do you expect. Anyway better luck next.

wonderful views in your picture,i like hiking,however because of rain,we have to cancel plan sometimes.plus,the rain can stop many kinds of outdoor activitys.this is why i hate rain sometimes.

I'm sorry you had to change your plans and will keep my fingers crossed that you can go next week with very nice weather!! I did enjoy hiking when I was younger.
