Unplanned Fantastic Sunday & Movie Review - I can Only Imagine

There are days you don't know what's going to happen when you get up in the morning. You think it's going to be a routine day, and then...
I got up at 3 this morning, an hour before I expected to get up. I cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, and then sat at the computer and did my Bible Study. Then reading it, and re-reading it, I didn't have a clue, so I did some research on Nahum, and did what I always do, asked God to give me what that chapter was about, and what he was teaching me.
After which I made an egg bake, overdosing on the spice, and worked the notifications, still planning to pick up the person I expected to take to church this morning, but she called and said she had just woken up and wasn't going. So, okay, I had more time to waste, literally waste, so I played a couple games on the computer until time to go to church.
And then God took over my day.
Church was awesome. It's Palm Sunday, and the service was geared around that. After church, my friend who took me to lunch a couple weeks ago asked if I had any plans for this afternoon. I didn't. So, she took me out to lunch, and I tried out another offering that fit on my menu plan, and she asked about going to see a movie.
I Can Only Imagine is the true story about lead singer Bart Millard of the band Mercy Me. His struggles as a boy, young adult, into adulthood and the abuse he sustained from his father. It's about his trying to find what he was good at, and being discovered by a high school teacher that set him on the road to the song that became number one soon after he wrote it.

I'm so glad my friend asked me if I had any plans for this afternoon. It was the best unplanned Sunday, I've had in a very long time.
Thanks for reading.
Edit: We're going to see another movie on Tuesday - Paul Apostle and planning on God's Not Dead - Light in the Darkness coming out soon.

Yes, they can. It was such a fun day. You'll be interested to know and probably laugh, that this week my social calendar is booked. I still have openings, but I think it's good the way it is. Yesterday with my friend from church. Tomorrow with the same friend to see another movie. Thursday I have my appointment at the hospital, and then in the afternoon another friend from church who had spinal surgery and is in a neck brace for three months minimum needs a ride to her doctor appointment. She's treating me for lunch. I'll be surprised if I've lost anything this month, though I've been very careful with the menu options I'm choosing. It's a full week for me.

@just4him I think Samson was released in the middle of February. It started Billy Zane, Rutger Hauer, and Lindsay Wagner to name a few. It's not in many theaters anymore though.
"Paul, Apostle of Christ" was just released, you might be interested in that. I always root for good, Christian movies to do well. The man who played Jesus in "Passion of the Christ" is in it.

I am glad that you had a great Sunday. We spent more time than planned in the apartment of my Mom. There was a Marathon in the city yesterday and, about half an hour we parked the car inside the garage, the road has been closed. We had to wait until the run was finished to come back home. Well we had more time to do what we need to do there.

@JohnRoberts That explains why I don't know him. I don't listen to country music.
