The Long and Short of It

For most of the past week I've been trying to give my arms a rest from typing. My carpal tunnel is flaring up, and my cortisone shot isn't until May 8. But I can't just ignore everything. That includes countdowns!
Here's the next pair of countdowns in my crazy music world: long and short song titles. No, this isn't songs with "long" or "short" in the title; rather, official song titles that have at least seven words in the title on the "long" side, and songs with four letters or less (no numbers or symbols, actual words) in a one-word title for the "short" side.

Carpel tunnels a bummer or you could even use a stronger B-word, one that was mentioned in a Stones song off the Sticky Finger's LP. Fantastic selection!!!! A song I would put in my music quiz as often as I could. Remember to stretch those digits and keep your posts on the short side, lol. (not funny)

At one point my doctor told me I had carpal tunnel, but I never had the electro test for it. Either I did not have it or I got over it, although I do have fibromyalgia and some arthritis in my hands. What helped with whatever I had was a paraffin spa. The one I had came with wax infused with tea tree and lavender, both said to relieve pain. I also did stretches for my wrists. I wore that paraffin spa out, cannot replace it locally. I bought a cheap one on Amazon, but I wish I had bought the same brand. If it interests you, look into it it was the Remington Brand also on Amazon, now, and is large enough to treat your feet if you like as well. My current doctor says to use a paraffin spa for my arthritis, and that helps as well. I know, I am off the music topic, but just wanted you to know what gave me the most relief, and you can use it all the time.

I've put lidocaine patches on my forearms. It eases the pain, which is my main concern.
I wouldn't recommend those electro tests to anyone. They hurt worse than the carpal tunnel does!

Thank you, Allen. It tends to flare up every year about this time, then I get a cortisone shot (plus, I don't type much in the summer) and it calms right back down. Much better than surgery!!!
