Finished all my notifications. As I was feeling a little bored with everything,I thought of taking a two week break. But there is always the possibility that I will come back still bored. So,I gave up the idea of a break. Well,as a new start I borrowed a new book from the library. The name of the book is ''As The Pig Turns''. It is a Agatha Raisin series by M.C.Beaton.I have read some books in the series. Agatha Raisin is a woman who lives in the Cotswolds and now runs a detective agency. Agatha finds herself investigating the murder of a police officer in the village of Winter Parva. I have started reading the book and is an easy read as I am familiar with Agatha Raisin from other books in the series. Anybody reading any interesting books? Image amazon.com

The book published by Balagokulam with the intention of saving the childhood of children. It contains the advises for parents mostly. I loved it. I don't seem to find a lot of time to read books. The last one I read was the diary of Anne Frank which my granddaughter brought home from school but that was some time ago, I really should start reading more.

I have read quite a lot of Agatha Raisin books. They really are very entertaining. I just finished reading "About A Boy" by Nick Hornby, and have started on the sixth book in the Spellman series by Lisa Lutz (love those footnotes!)

@silvermist That's true, but I find when I read as well as write, my 'voice' changes and my characters take on the 'voice' of the author I'm reading. I can't let that happen.

I have read a few of those mysteries. Both Agatha Raisin and Hammish Macbeth series. They are good when you want a light and fun read. I just took my kids to the library yesterday because my son wanted to get some books to read. I picked up a few for me too. I am going to start a book by Ray Bradbury called Farewell Summer.
