Do you like fried peanut butter?

I don't know if I do or not.
Maybe I didn't grease the frying pan good enough.
But when I tried to flip the peanut butter over it stuck to the pan and I ended up with peanut butter everywhere instead of a nice fried peanut butter patty.
That was on low heat.
When I tried it on higher heat, the peanut butter melted and started running all over the place.
*throws out frying pan*
Guess I'll have to start over again.
Any hints on how to fry peanut butter?
Oh...and don't try it on a barbecue grill...that doesn't work either.

I wouldn't fry the peanut butter....I'd dip the spoon of peanut butter in chocolate chips.

Someone is searching for new topics
. I would suggest mixing equal parts peanut butter and flour and a touch of sweetener and see how that goes.

I might just stick with a jar of peanut butter and a knife.

It probably isn't, I was basically trying to come up with something I have never seen here before.

@JolietJake try layering it on bread and then frying that

@NJChicaa I don't want bread, I want fried peanut butter. Maybe if I just drop balls of it in a deep fryer...

I have never tried fried peanut butter. But I would really stick with the peanut butter itself.

I keep a jar and a butter knife. I don't think I've made a sandwich for a long time, but I like just taking a bite of it occasionally.

You have to dip it in batter first, then roll it in bread crumbs, then fry it, just like they do the pickles.

What, with chocolate, or just like that? I've never tried, but I'd be interested if it had chocolate in it. I've had fried Mars Bars in batter and they were delicious

I think the deep-frying option sounds like a winner.
Or maybe you could get a pastry cutter in some sort of novelty shape, put that in the frying pan and put the peanut butter inside it. As long as you've greased the pan properly you should end up with a nice novelty shaped peanut butter patty!!
Don't use a plastic pastry cutter.
Oh, and if you use a metal one don't pick it up with your bare hands until it has cooled down!!
On second thoughts. It all sounds like too much work!!!
How about you try to nail jelly (jello!!) to a wall instead??
