I saw a commercial a while back for Mazola cooking oil. It said that it was better than olive oil. I questioned this. In doing some research I find that the oils naturally rich in antioxidants are the best to use. Researchers found that coconut oil andextra virgin oil was the best. They were the most resistant to heat. Here is a very informative article for those that are interested:
A new Australian study looked at 10 common cooking oils to see which is healthiest. The results could change the type of oils you use for cooking.

I use EVOO now, though I want to start using coconut oil as well. Vegetable oil is definitely the worst. I haven't tried any of the fancier oils like Almond Oil or Grapeseed Oil.

Grapeseed is one they said wasn't real good. We always use virgin olive oil.

@celticeagle I think I've read that grapeseed is used in some homemade beauty products, so atleast it gets a use.

There was a time when I used vegetable oil most often. I would go through at least a quart a month. Now a quart will last me 6 months. My go to oil is extra virgin olive oil.

I always use olive oil for cooking. It is a good protection against heart disease.

Thank you for sharing. I usually use one of three depending on what the price is olive oil, corn oil or sunflower seed oil.

I use canola, vegetable and olive oil, depending what's called for in the recipe. This is interesting to know.
