I love nature and try to contribute whatever I can do in my life for it! Today I have come across a Eco-friendly water bottle which a vendor was selling at the Signal lights. It is a earthen water bottle made of terracotta. This is a beautiful bottle, which requires just filling of water at room temperature to keep it cool naturally. This bottle can be carried to any place. I think it is very helpful for people while they are on move, may it be in vehicle on foot! I paid $3 for this bottle which is very cheap. I have posted the picture here! Have you ever seen such bottle? How do you like this? Please comment and your comments will be highly appreciated! Thanks e

Hi Akrao. Do they come in different colors too? Is that made from recyclable materials?

Those are earthen pots, in one color. That is typical color of terracota soil! Thanks!

@AKRao24 Nice. So it is really eco-friendly. We do not have those here. It would be nice maybe if we do have too.

We have something that is called thermos. It is an insulated glass container, that keep your water cool for several hours. In winter, if you pour hot liquid, it stays warm for a couple of hours.

Yes, thermos flasks are every where! But now a days they are out dated! This earthern water bottle is just to keep water cool in natural way. We need not pour cool water in it.Thw taer at room temperature gets cooler within few hours and it imparts very pleasant earthen aroma to it! Thanks!

@LadyDuck , Yes, but this is the eco-friendly bottle with the old concept! In rural India people still use the earthen pot to store water and drink! Thanks!

@allknowing , That depends from individual to individual. Some people like the aroma of the soil when we get first showers of rain after the summer while others they don't! This is also something similar!

That sounds good since it is made of natural materials. We have many reusable water bottles but they are made of aluminum I believe and cannot be recycled. Hopefully they will last us many more years.

Yes, I too do have those bottles. But they need to kept in fridge to have cold water from them. These bottle can cool the water when they are kept outside the fridge within few hours! Thanks!

Is that made from clay? We also have earthen jars before as containers of our drinking water. It also keeps the water always cool and delicious tasting.

Those are routine fridge bottles, they can be kept on fridge to have cold water! But this bottle cools the water all by itself as it is a earthen bottle! Thanks!

I haven't seen such a bottle around my place. May be I am not travelling much. Earthen pots are so good. However, a carrying such a water bottle may not be safe as there is chances of breaking.
