What's on your lunch menu for this sunny Sunday?

I always keep some kind of meat around the house. Sometimes it's lox. Sometimes it's sliced chicken. Sometimes it's just classic hot dogs from Safeway. I had some baked beans from Trade Joe's that I wanted to try, so I scored some hot dogs from Safeway the other day. I made them for lunch on that day, and the result was really yummy. I think I will do the same today. My "secret": I did not boil the hot dogs. I cooked them in the oven at 400 degrees for a few minutes, until I saw some brown and some splitting. Then I put them on the baked beans as I was warming the beans up. Neither deadly or healthy. Just filling and satisfying. What are you going to have (or did you have) today?

@TheHorse Why have you watched it a few times and not only once? Obviously, *you* find it funny.

@MALUSE Ahem, you didn't answer my question. I just re-watched the fart scene and didn't chuckle. But I've watched the movie with friends now and again.

Safeway hot dogs are definitely in the "some kind of meat" category

These are Oscar Meyer. As long as I don't have to see the poor pig's eyeballs and nuts getting squished, I don't care.

We had homemade baked beans here for lunch today, and hot dogs as well. I have to buy "gourmet" hotdogs that are lower in sodium, boil them first to get what salt is in them out, and then I grilled them. It was a different, but good lunch.

We had a late breakfast of pancakes and bacon, so I'll be having a late lunch. We had two turkey burgers left over from Friday's dinner. I will be heating one of those up for my lunch here shortly.

I still have to head to Trader Joe's to get some more beans (and some other stuff as well). Thanks to @Maluse, with her sophisticated European sense of humor, for linking the "fart scene" from Blazing Saddles.

I just had some spaghetti. I like hot dogs but really miss the kind I ate on the street in NYC. I just found a place online to get hot dogs and the onion sauce I miss so I am going to have some hot dog eating time really soon.

Chicken stew with creamy white sauce and mushrooms has been our dinner. It was pretty cold last evening. We usually do not eat meat for lunch, but we do for dinner, mainly chicken or fish.
