I decided to plant one last sunflower a couple of weeks ago, to see if it would reach maturity before the cruel late Fall days came.
It was looking good, until late this past week, when I got busy with work and forgot to water all of my plants. This is what it looked like as of yesterday morning.
I put on Handel's Messiah, to celebrate my sadness, and dutifully watered it, to see if I could save it.

Oh my - I guess it could go either way - though I lean towards it coming back to life if there is a watchful eye on it. Just don't over water it at this point but I'm sure you already know that. I don't know about that sweepstakes though

Perhaps it might revive if you keep playing it music. I remember I had quite a few plants in Latvia and all of them looked lush and green and if any drooped they always perked up the only secret was that I kept a radio playing for them all the time.

@TheHorse I had two radio stations I switched between and they liked both equally. One played popular Latvian music and the other mostly the oldies of my yesterday rock and roll.

Hmmm... that poor plant! (If you're not careful the plant protection agency is going to arrest you again! *shake my head*)

Ha ha So the Paypal account creator also gave you a supersonic jet which enabled you to first fly to Nigeria and then come back and also trained you to become a scam artist!
Interesting!
By the way, the Plants' court(if such a thing existed) would find you guilty of neglecting the watering needs of the plants.
And it is this love of plants that makes my father avoid touring other places as he feels that others will not take much care of the plants- mainly trust deficit!

@TheHorse I think it was the "Nigeria" that tipped me off.
I had several offers of cheques today. Imagine...I checked my junk mail, there were seven (7) in total, each telling me this was my final notice. Suspicious?
