Mind you, she is nice and loves dogs. Up to that point, it is fine.
But she charged me almost twice as much as the last time. And the last time I was thinking that it was too much.
Worse still, she made a schedule of the different times she would have to see Luna. It was at least once a month. I don´t have that kind of money.
There is a vet near Claudia´s house and Tania told me that she could take me. I will go and ask for prices when I go to Claudia´s and if it is good, I will change her vet. The doctor is more expensive than my oncologist.
For everything we have to do some shopping, even for doctors. How about you?

I can not imagine a vet wanting to see a pet every month if they had no ongoing medical issues. I think this lady may be lining her pockets.

I wonder why the Vet feels the dog needs to be looked at every month?

There is NO reason for a vet to have to see a dog every month. In the first few months when they are young puppies, they do because of shots and spaying/neutering but then it is usually once a year after that.
You can bathe and trim her nails yourself. You don't need a vet or groomer to do that. Save your money.

I have seen the way she gives Luna her shots. I´m sure that if the other vet is les expensive, there´s nothing so exquisite that she is the only one that can do it.

@marguicha There aren't that many shots that your dog requires monthly appointments.
