Of course I am sure you know that OCD is Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. I have this one OCD type of thing I do. I have to have my water jug setting on my night stand facing a certain direction. I used to be really bad. I would set the alarm and lock the door every night. Then I would have to get up and check them three or four times before I could finally go to sleep.
Do you have one of these repetitive activities you have to do?

This is true. Unless it really disrupts a persons life I don't think it is a big deal.

I dont have any. Except that I continuously keep coming back here to check in. Maybe that counts as one.

I think many people have certain things that they are OCD about. I know I do, and boy do I ever want to be in control. I do not have a lot of routine and ritual right now.

I think that is what it is for me. Routine. Makes me feel comfortable.

I do. I check my keys several times in my purse before I leave the house. I check every night that everything is closed and my glass on my night table. I could name several such activities. Yet I don´t mind them nor will I spend my money in a doctor. I can live with it

Could be a lot worse huh? As long as you can live with them that is what counts.

@celticeagle I agree to that. There are worse things in my life and I have accepted them or I´m working on them.

@sallypup .....The visit would nice. The distraction I can usually find unless the anxiety takes off too quickly and gets too bad.

Yes indeed. Anxiety I live with doesn't help.

@celticeagle Too bad you can't find a distraction or somebody could come in even once a week and visit with you.

I don't think it's OCD, but when I'm sitting down, if I'm wearing shorts, they have to be the exact same length.

I should be OCD about my keys but I'm not and I can't always find them. I even bought a sticky hook to hang them on. I use it sometimes but not often enough.

Any obsessive that is compulsive and disrupts your life is one I am thinking.

I can honestly say I don't have any obsessive compulsive behaviors. I binge eat sometimes, but not every day. (Phew!)
