Ever notice that you make the most noise WHEN you're trying to be quiet. This morning I woke up and saw my husband sleeping soundly. I knew he had had a rough night and didn't get much sleep. Since he had finally settled down I was going to play the part of the good wife and do my best not to wake him. But there was some stuff in the room though that needed clearing up. It was a simple task. Just pick the items and put them in their proper place. So I picked them up and of course I tried to pick up too much stuff at one time and dropped what I had in my hands making a really loud noise!! I cringed. Then I looked over at my husband and … Papa Bear was still sleeping soundly. 
Whew!

My husband gets up later on Wednesday mornings since he doesn't go to work-out. I'm usually up early anyhow. As I was tiptoeing around the kitchen putting things away, I managed to cause an avalanche of plastic tubs to fall out of a top cabinet. Something like that always seems to happen when I'm particularly trying to be quiet.

just try to open a frito bag quietly.can't be done.

If I don't want to wake my husband I do stuff well out of his hearing range but now that he is so deaf I don't have to go far at all.

Yes, I definitely notice that....it's hard to stay quiet when you are trying to be quiet!
