Gut Bomb!

I eat fairly healthy, but sometimes I just need a GUT BOMB. I'll go to McDonalds and get a Big Mac Meal maybe every two months. And once in awhile, maybe every three months, I crave greasy Kentucky Fried Chicken. Healthy food just won't do. The other night, after playing music with a friend, I had a craving for the latter. I don't know what caused it. But when a KFC appeared through my windshield, I couldn't stop myself. Two piece meal with a Coke. Do you ever just need a gut bomb? What is your favorite? How often do you indulge? I just remind myself that the years I'll be losing from my life will be at the end anyway. Heh.

I usually get a 7-layer burrito (without the beans, so it's technically a six-layer burrito), and it's difficult for that to have the "desired effects" that most of the rest of the Taco Belch menu items do ("get the runs from the border").

Heh heh. I do that now and then as well. But there are a lot of good "real" Mexican restaurants around here, so it's rare.

I am not a big fan of junk food, the only think I like to have (not often) is a little bag of potato chips and I know that I will end with a stomach ache, but I do not care, I like.

@LadyDuck They're pretty much carbs and salt. As I get older I'm losing my taste for "snack food."

@TheHorse It is not the worst food you can eat at least. I usually get the 20 dollar fill up or a bucket. Then I have food for the next day sometimes 2

@wolfgirl569 Yeppers. They say chicken lasts in the fridge well. I saved some of my gut bomb for the next day.

Might as well eat what you like now ( in moderation), can't eat it when your gone. I love Kentucky Fried Chicken as well and usually get the $5 fill up. Haven't had one since I moved from CO but still crave it from time to time.

We have Hungry Jacks here which I think might be a spin-off from Burger King. I love their Whopper Junior burger. That and a sundae costs me around $A5 which is really cheap. But then - that's me.

Sounds good...now and then. "Whopper Junior" sounds like Burger King. Is Hungry Jack's a chain there?

@TheHorse Yes. I go there perhaps once every few months if it happens to fit in with whatever else we've gone to the city for.

We crave Pizza, and Mexican food is my hubby's favorite. Even when do not need it, we are ending up having unhealthy food because appointments have us away from home and I have not prepared. The entire Thanksgiving set up is a 'gut bomb' for me, way too many carbs and desserts. I pretty much was ill yesterday from it.

Oh I do. Once I week I would indulge myself to fast food. Burger King is my favourite because I think it's a lesser evil because their burger patty is grilled not fried. And I love their onion rings.

Got a have a Big Mac at least once or twice a year. Three if I can get away with it. And although I don't in general care for KFC I do love their boneless wings with hot and spicy bbq sauce but rarely get them, they can keep the fries and sides and even the coke all I want is the wing.

Yes, tonight is my 'Gut Bomb' meal for the month. We are picking up some burgers from McDonald's Restaurant, which we do about once every two months. Once in a while we order a pizza, which is our once a month splurge with whatever we please. Jay prefers the Burger King hamburger on sour-dough bread.

I wish I could find a good fried chicken place in the area. We have both KFC and Popeye's, but I think the ones I go to just aren't as good as I remember them being about 20 years ago. I still get them sometimes anyway.
