It's almost here!

I thought this holiday season wasn't being as busy as some years. Wrong. For some reason, everything's happening at the last minute. I went to Urgent Care yesterday with a terribly sore throat. Strep test was negative, but the doctor is treating me with antibiotics just in case. So, as long as I keep the ibuprofen and Tylenol going, hopefully I won't feel so sick. Still lots to do...make a pot of venison soup for supper, change the sheets, clean bathrooms, get last minute things ready for our daughter and her family to get here this afternoon. The granddaughter is coming tomorrow (we'll celebrate her birthday) and the son and grandson will be here, too. (Our son might be bringing his new girlfriend!) We've met her once and so far no red flags; she seems really nice, so we'll see. Got hamburgers and hot dogs ready to grill tomorrow. Then I'll start baking pumpkin and chocolate pies, cheese cake, baking the turkey and ham, making deviled eggs, and anything else that can be made ahead of our big dinner on Christmas Eve. I better get off of myLot and get busy. Hope all of you will be well over the holidays and that God will bless you with every blessing you need. Rejoice! The Savior is born!
