Plowing the Parking Lot

Some of you might remember from last year that when it snowed more than three inches, they plow the parking lot and I need to leave for several hours. It's one way to get out of the house.
I hadn't planned on leaving today and only wanted to let my knees recoup so I could go to the pool tomorrow. It was actually a good thing I needed to leave. It took quite a while to clear off the car. I won't need to do that tomorrow morning. My knees are feeling much better as well, so the system is moving through. It was still snowing when I returned home, but it looks like it's stopped now. We might have gotten another inch.
This is what my car looked like in the picture above, though that was taken in April last year during our three-day blizzard. No blizzard yet this year, but at least it looks nice out there. I'm going to guess at another half inch of snow for today bringing our total to 5 inches.
I watched the next episode in the Harry Potter series this morning before I left and finished the movie when I got home, just a little while ago. My plan was to watch the movie and get to work on a book.
While I was at the library, where I hung out for three hours reading a book I've been reading for a few months now, I settled on what book I'm going to work on next for publishing. I don't have a picture for it yet and might need to leave that to my editor. The name of the next book I'm editing is Destination Love. It's not a romance, despite the title. The word Destination will have two crosses in it in place of the t's because that is the destination for the main character in this book.
Destination Love is about a young woman who is running away from a brutal murder she witnessed and a mother who hates her. She's a troubled young woman who frightens easily and is afraid of everybody. She knows nothing about love except from her late grandmother. She knows nothing about God because her mother refused to allow her grandmother to tell her anything about God. Her journey takes her from despair to love and acceptance as she makes her way to the cross, her final destination.
How was your day? Thanks for reading.

@just4him
I remember my last winter in Minneapolis I brushed off my car and then went inside a building and then came out and had to brush off my car again and then went inside another building and also came out and had to brush off my car again and thought I am glad this is my last winter here. I am glad I do not have to brush off a car here. I do have to clean off the plastic on my scooter.

I'd hate rain all the time. I know you don't like snow.

I hope you don't get snow either. You're too far south for it.

Maybe the forecast will change to snow. Thank you. That one I can say I wrote because I had a hard relationship with my mother, not as bad as the main character in the book, but I needed to get my feelings for my mother taken care of and try my best to like her. No, my mother didn't like me.

I'm not one of those people who doesn't like snow, I love it and wish there was a lot more than there is.
