Tonight's Dinner - Basil Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese With Ham

We are having an easy to fix, light dinner tonight. I love tomato basil soup and my grilled cheese with ham just can't be beat. I have had a busy day today. My mind took off and I have been writing constantly all day. I am loving it. So, I am about to lay down for about an hour and regenerate myself and see if I can't get up and do some more. I hope you day has been going a good as mine has.

I HAD a great day... and just picked up a new way for grilled cheese... Never had it with ham before!! Never thought of it!

@HazySue Gee... I wonder why there isn't such a thing as a Grilled Cheese Restaurant... with zillions of possibilities. I would definitely go!!

It is so good with ham. Sometimes we have it with bacon and sometimes with sliced tomato.

I had a great day so far. I did some work in the side yard, got a few things done inside and did a lot of commenting on mylot, to me that's a good day.

I'm not crazy about tomato soup but who doesn't love grilled cheese? Oh yeah, my husband. He likes tomato soup but doesn't care for grilled cheese. Don't think he's ever eaten it. Both my girls make them constantly. My husband prefers a fried egg sandwich with cheese.
