Past our bedtime

This evening I have just been reading and responding here for about two and a half hours. Bob is trying to finish his last library book. We stayed decently warm. I went over to the church to help with the kid's activity, then we went out to Dollar General cause Princess is not willing to eat what we have on hand, and I wanted a few things. I will get to notifications in the next two days, but I just really had more interest in responding to you guys. I see some people asking about bed time snacks, and yes, I ate some Belvita cookies and a warm cinnamon coffee. I had said I would not drink coffee, because Bob does not, but I had some instant in the cupboard, and I was tired of the headaches. Instant coffee has less caffeine than brewed or drip coffee but it does not really taste good to me. I improve it by putting a cinnamon stick in my mug. I leave the stick in the cup for subsequent drinks, until I no longer get a cinnamon flavor in my coffee. Then I get a new one, the used one gets dried out and will go in a container of potpourri. As I said, it is past bedtime. I will be here tomorrow to finish out my month of earning here. Sleep well for those of you going to bed. For those of you getting up, have a great day.

I did sleep well. Tomorrow I may brew up some chai as I just got a recipe in an e mail, and I have all I need for it on hand. Do you make a chai blend with spices.

This post has been here since 30th January. I'm sorry t have missed it. How have you been since? I snack too before bedtime. Brewed coffee and lemon merrengue pie (my daughter made for me on my birthday) are what I'm having at the moment while myLotting. Have a good day, Heather.

It is impossible to get to every post every day. Things have mostly been good. It was after this post that hubby had surgery which seems to have really helped his many problems. I am supposed to eat a protein snack at bed time, but I would rather have the pastries. Lemon meringue is one of my favorites.

@GardenGerty It is my deepest hope that ypur husband has recuperated very well? I hope, too, that his health problems find their way to healing, peace and grace. Do you have your patries freshly baked and with chillies. I do. ;-)

Bedtime snacks are nice. I like tea and cookies. Or milk.

It is a very good idea to recycle cinnamon sticks, they make a good potpourri.

You get good use from your cinnamon sticks. Vince sometimes sprinkles cinnamon on his.

Bob puts cinnamon in his oatmeal every morning, and I keep a homemade "pie spice" blend on the kitchen counter for lots of things.

I don't care for instant coffee either. The cinnamon stick is a good idea. Those caffeine headaches are awful.
