I am Hooked!

Fortunately, I’m not hooked by a claw from Doodles the cat, although I have been several times. It wasn’t a pretty sight. But I am hooked on a new store I just happened upon, yesterday, after my manicure/pedicure appointment.
The shop is brand new and stands next to a new restaurant from which I was planning on getting a menu. A gorgeous dress caught my eye, and in I went.
The owner and I hit it off immediately. She carries clothes for people over 40 years old, although anyone who is a size 0 can shop there, too. I spent over two hours trying on clothes and gabbing with the owner. There were only two items I felt weren’t for me. I bought EVERYTHING else! The shop is aptly called, WOW.
My husband was getting worried and about to call me when I walked in the door laden with bags. I told him I went on a shopping spree, but he’d have to wait to see my new outfits when I wear them.
I am so hooked on this new shop. And, no, I never got that menu. Maybe next time.

Women! Turn them loose in a new clothes store and they go crazy! Doodles says life is simple with one fur coat.

now you make me want to see them! maybe put them in some of your photos here. you could still be a model. smart and lucky girl/ lady you are. well you know so many on here have a black cat like yours. in fact micheal radcliff here and on face book shows videos of his. do you have videos some where of doodles? he is so cute

@bunnybon7 Connecticut. I wish I could take him wherever I go, but he's my son's cat. I will have him when we go home, so my son and his wife can have her male cat live with them. He's at her parents now. Doodles didn't accept him, so we have to play musical cats. Being in Florida doesn't help much, but that's life as it stands.

Thank you! I have many videos of Doodles on YouTube and Facebook. We just did FaceTime with our son and Doodles. Mostly Doodles outside and getting treats inside my son's house. What laughs we get from him. I can't wait to see him again in June!

I thought it was only food. You will never grow old I am sure of that. You can ask your husband to sing this song for you Nat King Cole does a great job of that

@allknowing Ha Ha! That's better. He told me I was crazy wanting to hear him sing the other one to me. This one, he seems to know more of the words and doesn't have to hum as much.

@DianneN The same applies to restaurants. When you find that one special restaurant that you just absolutely fall in love with, every other restaurant becomes secondary.

That is nice that some of the clothes are from here. Thanks. I finally lost weight and not on a diet. It starts in the summer when I am not hungry and really want to just drink and then it carried over in winter and then summer again and now it is winter and I am still not hungry. I can look at food and not get hungry. I have an easier time fasting now. I just want to get down to medium and I will be fine.

Thank you. I do love the new clothes and wore one outfit last night and will wear one today. The good thing about them is that many can be mixed and matched to make new outfits!!! I may be able to stretch the outfits into 29 days worth of different looks if I'm smart enough. I haven't shopped since I was home months ago, except for a few things here and there.

@DianneN good for you! I have a friend who would hide all her new shoes and then try to convince her husband she had them forever. Years later he confessed that he knew but didn't want s spoil the game . We still laugh about it.

Sometimes you just have to get some beautiful dresses that catches your eye instead of some food you can actually eat later,sometimes when you miss those dresses you may not come across them ever again
