Time to explain my absence

Yep, that's me at about 35 maybe

For the last few weeks, I have not been around much at all. Some of us know JavaMan from the old Bubb place. He is retired, as am I, but began tutoring English online a few years ago. Someone told me about a site that I passed along to him. He started there a few months ago and, though working crazy hours through the night, is able to make several hundred dollars a week tutoring foreign students from the Middle East, South America and Asia. I decided to give it a try as well a week or so ago, and got qualified easily. I had major connection problems for a week though, so bought a new router and tried to troubleshoot the problem. It has been a difficult time, but the site finally connected well, cam and all. I have been enjoying talking with people of all ages from many countries and all ages for a few days now. I have talked to two veterinarians from different countries, a doctor from Brazil, and some delightful young people. I am not abandoning myLot, but want to give tutoring a try too. I was going to be a teacher once and this feels pretty good. I don't work crazy hours overnight, but will have some fun and make some extra money as well.

How great you get to talk to different people and help with tutoring in your own home. I have a friend who is thinking of doing this too.

Some people in India too have tried online tutoring. But it would need a very good Net connection?
