My niece will be here any moment. She will be spending a few days with us. I have asked her to get me guavas which are available where she lives. They are huge and juicy.
She will be travelling by bus It is an overnight journey She preferred this mode as the bus stops close to our house.
Do you like overnight travel by bus? Have you ever travelled?

Those routes could be quite pleasant unlike here as we do not get to visit hotels en route that could be called clean but yes travel by bus otherwise could be quite a pleasant experience

@allknowing Clean hotels would be a must on my list. Perhaps that's why the trip to India we were investigating had so many flights. Have fun and enjoy your time together!!!

@allknowing The guavas near Nasik I think are one of the biggest available around here.

That is just too far to travel by bus. The longest I have tried was 5 to 6 hours.

When the journey is between one house to another a bus journey seems more comfortable

She chose the bus because she could take the bus close to her house and she walked to my house when she reached here.

Nowadays bus travel has better facilities such as AC and sleepers.

@dya80dya My niece opted for a sleeper and she said there are double sleepers too for couples.

I prefer buses to cars. These long distance buses are so designed that there is enough leg room and seats are adjustable. The only thing is the hotels that we encounter are not appealing.

Bus travel can indeed be interesting. I have had several experiences specially when we were touring in the US, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.

If one gets to visit clean hotels en route that journey can be quite a pleasant experience.

I have travelled over night several times and I choose the ordinary bus as I do not like AC which means the bus is all closed and we do not get natural breeze.
