Spaghetti & Meatballs for Dinner

Spaghetti and meatballs is a favorite around my house. I make it fairly often. Tonight I am fixing meatballs instead of the tomato sauce I usually cook. That will be something a little different. And a small salad to go along with it. Pasta is one of my favorite dishes, no matter how it is cooked. I have eaten just pasta and butter many times for a light meal. I use the angel hair pasta always for the spaghetti. We love it better than the regular or thin spaghetti pasta. The last of the bad weather is moving in tonight. I hope it doesn't get too bad and our power doesn't go off. It is flooded everywhere. Fingers crossed for a good safe night. Any plans for dinner you guys? After dinner it will be movie time.

Being Italian I like pasta, I use different size of spaghetti according which kind of sauce I prepare. I made thin spaghetti yesterday with a sauce prepared with cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic and parsley.

@CarolDM We have so many different recipes to make pasta. We usually have pasta for lunch, it's not at all "fattening" if you do not add more calories on the same meal.

Spaghetti is a favorite for me as well. I had it earlier last week. Though I use spaghetti squash instead of pasta now.

Pasta is nice when cooked according to my style. I like spaghetti to be sweet, spicy and kinda salty. And lots kf cheese.

Good to hear. We were worried overnight with tornado warnings and floods, roads close. But finally the sun is out right now. This will allow some of the water to go away eventually.
