As you can see from the photo above, we have icy conditions this morning. Through central Wisconsin north, there is a blizzard warning with snow expected up to 14 inches. As you can see in the Green Bay area, we're ice covered.
I'm not going to church this morning. We're not expecting a lot of snow, only 1-2 inches, but it will be disastrous to drive on that. The snow is expected to be done in our area by noon. Then the wind picks up to 50 mph through the rest of the day.
Not a good day to do anything but stay put. So, I will be watching church on TV again today. Two weeks ago I did a 360 spinout on the way to the pool. I'm not taking any chances of a repeat this morning.

I agree. I'm not going anywhere. The salt trucks have been by many times this morning. From what it looks like, I'm going to guess we're going to get more than the two inches they're predicting. It does look pretty coming down. You can tell there's a wind driving it.

I woke up at 9:45 AM and the news said that we also will have some freezing rain. We will have to be very careful today.

We had a wonderful day, but the wind has really picked up here in Lower Michigan! We had blizzard warnings, with an expected snow accumulation of less than an inch 
A blizzard? Anyway, it did start to rain, because it's too warm to get any snow. I think it was around 38 degrees today. Stay warm and safe!

Nice quiet day here, no snow and temps in the 50's. That groundhog must be right, early spring at least in my neck of the woods. The Eskimos would feel right at home this winter in Green Bay, lol.

I agree. I'm not playing around on icy roads. From what I've seen of the weather for the US, it seems it's everywhere.

oh dear :( i'm glad yer gonna be stayin' 'ndoors, hon. that ice 'nder snow 'tis most tricky. thankfully 't don't seem ya got hurt with yer 360 thingy. well, outside 'f yer nerves. i reckon those t'were a bit raw.
've all the storms comin' through yer parts been with high winds?? we've 'd such since 'fore january - mostly jest the high winds 's the moisture 'tis been most elusive here.

The 360 spin out happened at 4:30 AM on my way to the pool. Almost no traffic on the roads so no one including me, got hurt.
We've been getting the winds, we had them yesterday up to 65 in spots. Then it went into the deep negatives last night. We're supposed to get up to 9 today.

My Sunday was good and we had a good church service. We had about 50 degree weather and it was sunny. I understand your plight. I used to drive in the snow and had a few close calls myself. I am glad you exercised proper wisdom.
