It's the day my friend and I have been waiting for all week. We have the tickets, bought on Monday, and I have the money set aside for the parking fee and the souvenirs. I don't expect to buy too much, but definitely the book and maybe a little something else. We'll see.
We're going for the 3 PM show, which is in five hours. We'll be leaving in 3.5 hours.
After going out this morning, I know the roads are good. There were some slippery areas, but the plows were out and the sun is out shining brightly on the roads, melting any snow that might be lingering there. I want to leave early enough to get good seats. Being Saturday, I expect it to be packed.
Now, for those of you who are against circuses because of the animals, I learned they don't use the same animals for the acts two performances in a row but have several so they can alternate the animals. There's no abuse going on with this circus.
I'm looking forward to a good show this afternoon.

I hope you have a great time! I haven't been to a circus since my kids were little. I used to love taking them to the circus, it was so much fun!

@just4him Did the circus still have elephants and lions and tigers and bears, oh my? haha
Many circuses nowadays have caved in to pressure from animal rights activists and have removed animals from their shows.
