I read this story about a Jaguar attacking a lady at an Arizona Zoo. The story goes like this.
I lady climbs the barrier into the jaguars enclosure so she can take a selfie with this animal and it attacks her. She suffers minor injuries from the animal. The zoo has said the animal will not be put down.
Another case of people being stupid. What would make someone think this was a good idea? At first I'm thinking this is a teen or early 20's, but no it says it is a woman in her 30's. Seriously? Still that stupid at 30?
The thing the story doesn't tell us, did she get the selfie? Where is the photo of the selfie? I want to see the photo of the look of horror on her face as the cat attacks her.
I hope the zoo presses charges against her for trespassing and endangering the life of the cat. That would be great in my opinion, not old does she get injured but then the she should have to pay for the medical care she received out of her own pocket, and then get arrested for trespassing and endangering the life of the animal. Then maybe she will learn just how stupid she is.

@sugartoes My granny used to say that if you are not wise at 20, you will be not at 60. IF she reaches her 60's she will be like now.

Another story of another incident happened in Delhi, India few years ago when a man get into White Tiger's territory of the zoo. Tiger did no harm then, but people started throwing stone at tiger to make him run and save the man, however this angered the tiger and he killed him.
After the incident Tiger Vijay become popular among local people and many people visited Zoo just to see him. People even named him as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, (fictional name of a protagonist from the Bollywood films Agneepath).

She's fortunate to only suffer minor injuries for such a major act of stupidity.

I heard about this. It's a zoo with wild animals.
What would possess somebody to think they were safe to climb into an area with a jaguar? Did they think the animal would pose for her. Sadly, I believe they said the woman was mauled. That's a horrible way to learn a painful lesson...

I have seen people do ridiculous things in the name of selfies. At Niagara Falls, I saw a woman..cross over the barrier to get a pic by the Niagara river, and she was wearing sandals and slipped! I mean,,for real??? Maybe the gene pool doesn't need these dopes in it, SMH.

It is dangerous to do things like that if you are in that places.
