Yep, that is me. I am not going to hang around and respond. I am going to bed. I took this selfie about two weeks ago. Last Friday I got a really short cut. Saturday I did more henna on my hair. I will try to either do a selfie, or get Bob to get a good shot of me. Last night was a bad night. Lots of arthritis pain in my hands and feet that kept waking me up. I am in the middle of an experiment right now. I am not taking anything like vitamins and minerals and herbs and such except my one prescription for diabetes. I take tylenol and aleve for pain, and flonase in the morning for alllergies. I used to take a lot of things that I believed help, but I got so tired of all the pills. I thought I would just cut it all off for a couple of months and see if I missed the things I took. I was trying to get everything from my diet. The truth is that there are some things I was taking that I probably need to take again. I just needed to prove to myself that they helped. Anyway, being awake last night made me tired this morning. Then I got called to work in a difficult class room and I am very tired. Bob made us delicious homemade cheeseburgers for supper and we also ate mandarin oranges. I just had a cup of cocoa and I am going to bed, I work tomorrow. So sorry, but I am not responding to notifications tonight. I have done dishes, washed a load of laundry, folded laundry, given Princess canned salmon as that is what she wants right now. Bob is bowling. I have lunch ready for tomorrow. Chili mac and cheese, strawberries, maybe some veggies to go with. I need to pick out work clothes. The days that I work at school I do get my 10,000 steps in and more, so that makes me tired as well. Good night my friends. I will have more time in the morning.

We all understand life offline keeps us from being here at times. I will be praying that you feel better and sleep well tonight. Goodnight.

I was exhausted and slept very soundly. I just do not want to get going this morning. I took some naproxen (aleve) at bed time and it helped.

I remember a coworker with rheumatic arthritis who said that his doctor told him to avoid beef if possible and he told me it actually worked to lessen the swelling and pain.

Rheumatic arthritis seems to respond to the same treatment as gout. This is osteo arthritis from wear and tear. It feels better when I lose weight. I think you do have to be careful about the beef and everything else though. Supposedly leaving off peppers, tomatos and other night shade family help, but I do not notice the difference for me.

@rebelann Bell peppers are nightshade, I believe, as well as eggplant, potatoes and tomatoes. I do not notice a difference when I leave them off. In fact, I feel better when I drink tomato V8.Some beef has a lot of hormones in it and I am not sure but I believe that agitates the pain and swelling.

When I get tired I totally flop. I think I will do best if I am not away from home more than three days a week. I am looking forward to being able to be outside more.

We are not as wet as some but it has been chilly more this winter. I am anxious for warm weather and free time to enjoy it.

The things I have left off for now are herbs and vitamins and one over the counter medicine that seems to help if I take it consistently. I will add that back in first.

Some herbs caused me really bad menstrual pain. Maybe you will get some relief from stopping these things and seeing it if helps the pain any.

Our bodies are all different, and so herbs act different ways. Yarrow and tansy are two that are good for menstrual pain, and I believe red clover tea and raspberry leaf tea.

I like your new haircut on you! It must be easy to care for. Sometimes, we need to take the prescribed meds if diets don't cut it.

Oh this is before the hair cut and color to even it out again. I take my one prescribed medicine for diabetes. I have a muscle relaxer I can take if I need it, but seldom do. I also have a medicine for coughs if they will not stop, but it has been a long time since I needed it. I took some vitamins and some herbs. I have decided I would like to get my herbs in tea form instead of capsules and so will add those later.

I'm sorry you're a bit tired and stressed at the moment. It's good that you are getting your 10,000 steps in though.

Goodnight and sweet dreams. I did this with all the pills last year. I only take diabetes meds, my hormone and now allergy pill every night since my world of yellow. I actually need the potassium because my BP went up when I stopped those. I take one about once a week now I can bet I do get in 10,000 steps a day. I do not count.

Lady, you and Sojourner both get in way more than 10,000 steps. I may need the magnesium if I am not getting enough in my diet. I do not have a blood pressure issue. It is some lymphy node swelling and some other things. I will give it a while longer and decide what to add back in.
