Can Life Get Any Better?

Yahoo! Our older son and grandson are flying from New York City tomorrow to visit us for two entire days from Thursday morning until Saturday afternoon. That’s all the time they can spare. Our grandson has an important ice hockey game as goalie early Sunday morning.
Our daughter-in-law has to stay in NYC with our granddaughter. The ice princess has her first figure skating competition on Saturday.
We have two days jam packed with activities, the best being Friday. On Friday we will go fishing on the ocean with them and my brother and his wife. Dinner reservations were made last month at Prime Catch, a seafood restaurant. We lucked out getting a dockside table.
It will be a short, but sweet, visit. We are so excited to see them. However, you won’t see much of me starting today. I have beds to make up, cleaning to do, and some food prep planned. I will stop by when I need to relax!

Enjoy you company! I love fishing but cant on the ocean, I get sea sick.

@DianneN My aunt jinxed me, when I was about 15 years old. When she came back from Florida her comment was, 'Oh my gosh look at Kharla, she has really grown over the winter! She's gonna be the tallest one out of Mike's girls!' After she said this, I never grew another inch

@DianneN I've been called 'Shrimp', 'Mosquito', 'Small-fry', 'Short-stuff,' and the list goes on:) Being reminded that I'm short use to be an insult, but now I don't mind it a bit! My mother was 4'9", but she never admitted to this. My sisters are 4"10" and 5"1". I'm 5'0", but I'm in a growth spurt!

How exciting for you and your husband! It sounds like a really fun two days...would love to join you dockside at the seafood restaurant! Don't overdo it with the cleaning. Come and see us when you can. You will be missed.
