I did NOT get called in for today

I did not get called in for today, and secretly I hope I do not get called in tomorrow either.
When we get back from Oklahoma, that next week, I am going to permanently work Tuesdays and Thursdays for the rest of the year.
It is a little complicated. K----- has been out on maternity leave. So R--------- has been substituting for her. R--------is going to college for her teaching degree. All of her classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. M------------- has been covering them, except she was not available last Tuesday and Thursday, or for the week before.
K-----------decided not to come back after maternity leave. I don't blame her. So R------- will continue in the position, leaving Tuesday and Thursday open. The teacher asked them if I could be hired for those days.
I still may possibly get called in on other days. We will see.

I have not seen you in a while! It will be a good opportunity. If need be, next year I will work full time, but right now, just the small amount is all I want.

@kareng We are winding up problems hubby has had from some cancer treatment, and a stroke, and 9 months of unexplained bleeding. Health issues are the pits, grandbabies rock in more way than one.

@GardenGerty I have been gone for awhile. Had a stroke in 2017, retired. Got a couple more grandkids and just enjoying the kids and grands. Hoping to do some traveling this year and next. It's good to be back and reconnecting with some old friends!

It is a good fit for now with my life. I find that I do better mentally and motivationally if I work. This is a lot of walking but not a lot of outrageous behavior, one on one with one student or another and lots of paid breaks.

Now that Bob is feeling better I do not mind. It is good for me to get out and see other people, and it will pay the co pay for a lot of his medical procedures.
