Now That Irks Me

Most of the time when I travel on business, I always take the stance that even if I forget something, it's not really that big of a deal. After all, there's a Walmart in nearly every city I go into. Barring that, there's Dollar Tree stores, Dollar General stores, Family Dollar stores, and any other kind of story you can possibly think of. But, what I forgot this time was my charger for my laptop. The long and short of that is that, while I can still go to a store and buy a charger, it's just an expense I don't think is worth it. Luckily, my computer is fully charged. And luckily my workload is small momentarily, so I don't necessarily need my computer. That being said, it looks like I will not be able to spend additional time doing other things on the internet, such as doing MyLot. I need to preserve my battery for work-related things. I can still do MyLot. But, as anyone who has ever tried to do my lot on their cell phone, which is what I have to do, knows all too well that that is a pain in the you-know-what. So, that being said, I will be here. But my time here will be extremely Limited.

@andriaperry Hmm. Didn't know you could use a Kindle for that sort of thing. Interesting. But yes, that word thing would be irritating. Glad to be missed.

As one may have figured out, I didn't really use my phone either. I was quite absent from MyLot this trip. I tried it a bit, but it was just too cumbersome so I just let it go.

Oh yes, that would be very frustrating! I'll use my phone for mylot if I have to, but it is so much easier on the computer!

Different computers, different Chargers. But it's a good idea.

I don't know how many times we've let chargers at people's houses. It is a real nuisance.

It's the first time I forgot to pack mine and it was very irritating. I was just happy it was my three day trip and not my four day trip, so it was only two nights of inconvenience. Luckily I did not have major work to do at night in the hotel otherwise I would have very quickly run down my battery. It worked out, if not just being a bit irritating.

I hate when that happens because even if we have free time we can't spend it on the internet to save the battery.

Besides the fact I do so much on the Internet. Banking, investing, investment research, work related stuff, MyLotting, and so many other things...being essentially without the computer was very frustrating.

I bet you never forget your charger again. So, how did the experiment work for March?

I forgot my FitBit charger when we were in Cozumel in November. That being said, it made it all the way to Saturday at the airport when we were leaving. I was impressed! My Apple Watch needs to be charged every single day.
