Are You Properly Attending To Your Feet

So, when you take a shower do you attend to all of those body parts? I'm sure some areas like the armpits and groin probably get the bulk of your attention. But how about your feet?
Do you bend over and wash the top, sides, and bottom of your feet with soap and water? Or are you like me and figure their getting wet and soapy due to gravity and do not need any additonal assistance?
Well, if your like me you need to change your approach. “Your feet are covered with bacteria, just like the rest of your skin,” according to infectious disease experts. And that bacteria causes foot odor. If your prone to calluses scrubbing your feet is necessary to rid your skin of dead cells.
One final reason is to protect yourself against infection. Walking in a puddle of water around a pool or gym shower can lead to a possible staph infection if feet are not efficiently cleaned.
Now that you've been warned about the possible health issues related to ignoring those feet, make sure you wash head to tootsies. Especially if you plan on wearing sandels or flipflops this Spring and Summer. Your friends will appreciate it and so will the environment,
So, were you scrubbing those feet all along?

I am one that needs to soak my feet in a squirt of vinegar/basin of hot water and then wash them with soap every night. If I don't I get some sort of foot problem where I can hardly walk. A shower is not enough. It might because of the long winter and the feet get cold and sweat as we go in and out of places with winter boots.

@dgobucks226 Since we only have only two feet and they got to last a long time, we have to give them the best care we can.
We can get two feet of snow but they eventually melt.

I take a warm bath in my big bath tub every day and I wash and scrub my feet. After I finish and I dry myself, I check my nails and then I apply a cream on my feet. I do not wear sneakers or shoes that do not let my feet "breath", I have no feet problems.

@dgobucks226 I have a foot bath/massager, during summer I do not wait to take a bath, I wash and massage my feet every time I come back from the outside. Wearing sandals or open shoes makes your feet to get dirty easily.
