It is difficult to cook a meal for a 96 year old lady. There are things she won´t eat (too sour, to bitter) and there are things she will not eat on Good Friday. I remember that I invited her last year for lunch and I planned to cook a chicken she loves. But she asked me whether I was aware that she could only eat fish, seafood and veggies then. I did not have dessert and my aunt thinks that there´s no meal without dessert. I remember when we were at her house at the seashore a couple of summers ago. We went to lunch out sometimes and I felt happy and filled with a big dish of fish or seafood. But my aunt insisted on dessert. So, after a while, I told her what about if she got dessert and let me have a spoonful of it. Anyway, today I made a delicious rice pudding. I did not want to make any dessert with eggs, but this one will only have rice, milk and cinnamon. I just tried it and it is delicious! Do you like rice pudding?

Actually I haven't tasted a rice pudding before. It seems something new for me. Usually here the rice is our main food. Sometimes we will eat rice noodles, rice cakes, congee etc. But I don't know how to make rice pudding. It is something I like to try.

As Jojo has mentioned here that we have a traditional dessert called kheer and it is very much like rice pudding. It is a very common one in India and is made on most of the auspicious occasions.
