BACK in the Swing of Things

My back feels so much better today! You have no idea how human I feel again, but I will still take it easy and keep my chiropractor appointments.
By chance last night, my hubs and I happened to watch the movie, “Sunshine”, a historical drama by our Florida neighbor, Israel Horovitz. He did the screenplay.
This morning I called them and invited them for a quick breakfast. We served bagels, eggs, a fresh fruit salad, coffee, and tea for his wife, Gillian, who is English. Fortunately, we had plenty of food on hand.
They left for New York City immediately afterwards, but invited us to get together with them in New York this summer.
As you can see by my photo, it’s a beautiful Memorial Day here. Later I will attend a pool party and barbecue for a bit, if my back is feeling as good as it does right now.

Oh I'm so glad to hear that . . . it makes a huge difference to not be in pain anymore. Yes, do baby it still until it is solidly better. But how wonderful you can be out and about again . . . she's baaaaaaack

@DianneN Well, it's a start . . . just take it easy today. Don't be doing cartwheels and such 
. Being able to stand upright is everything - we often do take that for granted! Today it is sunny for us too (it had been gray most of the weekend) . . . enjoy your beautiful day too

@much2say I sure will take it easy from now on until........No cartwheels, golf, tennis, or anything except walking for a while. I’m signing up for yoga classes the minute I get to our “vacation” home per chiropractor orders.
I’m glad you finally have a sunny day. I didn’t realize you get gray days where you are unless it rains. You still have the best weather in the entire USA!

That looks so lovely where you are just rest all you can and have those massages if you need them.

So glad to hear your back is better, and even happier to hear that you will continue to keep your chiropractor appointments. Our poor backs are nothing to take lightly!
I hope you had a fun day at the pool party and BBQ. I pretty much laid around the house all day recovering from jet lag.

This is wonderful news, Dianne! I'm so glad that pain in your lower back has let up:) A Chiropractor did my son a lot of good, as one has done for you, also. We haven't seen Sunshine, it sounds like a very good movie. Breakfast guests? Hey, we use to do that years back. I miss having Dennis or Paul stop by, to share a pancake or two! lol It's kinda chilly here, maybe 65 degrees F. We will go to the cemetery later on, to view Mom, Dad, both my grandmas, and a few other grave sites. Jay loved these people, as much as I did! Have fun at the pool&BQ today
