Another Hot One

Good morning! It's only 10:36 am and its already 81 degrees. It's supposed to be around 90 again today. I've only lived in Louisville for about 3 summers now but it's usually not this hot in May. I am thinking it's probably going to be a very hot and humid summer.
I shouldn't complain because just a few weeks ago, it was chilly and I couldn't wait for spring. But it seems we went straight to summer with very little spring. How is the weather in your area?

We've had spring this year. Usually, we do the same, going from winter to summer with very little spring. This year, I've been running my furnace more than usual as it's on the chill side more than the warm side and we've gotten more than our share of rain. I'm not a fan of summer, but right now I would welcome it to keep my furnace off. I think we're in for a hot wet summer too.

It is getting cooler now with the daily rains in the afternoon, unlike in March to May when it is scorching hot!

back'n february we'd be breakin' record highs 'cross the state, 'f late we'd done the same, but fer the lowest highs recorded. hopefully this weather'll regulate 'tself soon. still usin' the woodburner durin' the chilly nights 'n then gotta open windows by 8am. 't times needin' the a/c.

Today we have a beautiful day and it's not too hot. I agree that it seems we had very little spring and will probably go straight into a hot and humid summer.
