Look to your right

"Look to your right." She said, and I did but didn't see anything of any interest. "Do you see it?" she asked, and I said I didn't. That's when she said "I do." and smiled. What did she see? grey hair on me! What? I mean, I thought I was going a little grey, but now it's been confirmed by my best friend. When, if you have, did you start going grey?

Everyone ages and grey colour are part of ageing process. Do you feel scared of grey hair? I have many grey hair and I do not bother about it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Now a days age has no relation with grey hair.

It's just that I feel I am still a little too young for it. I am only 31.

@dpk262006 Yes, it seems everyone is wanting to dye their hair grey.

Uh oh, will you be going to get some hair color? Mine started turning in my early 40's. My mom and grandmother were grey early. I guess I got it naturally.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I gave up on dying my hair after I had the stroke in 2017. I don't regret the decision either. It's all natural now and mostly grey

I will probably end up dyeing my hair more often, but no, I won't be going to get any dye yet.

@kareng Truth be told, I don't dye mine as often as I once did. I think the only thing that would get me to dye it more regularly is if I went considerably grey before I wanted to. Wow, I'm sorry to hear you had a stroke. How scary that must have been for you.

Same with mine. My mom's side seems to go bald, or atleast part of it. I think I'd rather go grey.

@popciclecold I am trying to take care of my scalp and hair now so that I hopefully have to worry less about balding.

I have not started going grey yet, thankfully. I do lose a lot of hair though....which I am not sure I'd prefer over having some grey hairs.

I'd rather have grey hair than no hair.

@MommyOfEli2013 Exactly. I think I'd probably stop dyeing it when I was around 50 or 60, but it depends onhow many wrinkles I have. I used to work with a lady who was in her 70's and she kept her hair long, it was silver. She didn't look to be in her 70's though.

@Nevena83 Gray hair makes us feel old, even if we are not very old at all.

I have decided to just let my hair go natural and it is just getting white right up front but dark along the sides.

If my hair gets too grey, I will dye it. I think I'd probably stop dyeing it when I turned 50, but that's 19 years from now.

I had the odd gray hair in high school. Salt and pepper by 30 and white by 40.

I'm in my 30's now. I know that my dad's side of the family goes grey faster. Guess it will be getting my hair dyed / dying my hair a lot more often from now.

I am 46. I have gray hair. Funny to me, though, my moustache and beard started to gray before my hair, but now my hair is pretty gray. I probably started to gray about three or so years ago.

I have a grandfather that is in his 80's, his beard and mustache is gray but his hair (what's left of it, he started to bald in his 30's) is as black as it's always been. I know that greying hair has to do with genetics but I feel like it can also change due to environmental factors.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have known a couple of guys like that. I guess I am okay with my gray. I am told it makes me look distinguished. I beg to differ...but...who am I to argue?

I've had some gray in my hair for well over 10 years. I get highlights to try to camouflage them.

I went a bit darker not too long ago and that is what's probably made it show more. I used to have more of an unintentional ombre look.
