This IS June, Right?

I know the calendar says it's June. However, I think someone forgot to tell Mother Nature the season's changed back in March and they're about to change again.
Today, for the second time this month and the second time ever for the month of June, I turned on the heat. Yes, the heat. Unheard of for this time of year.
It's cold out. Not yet 60. I wore my fleece-lined hoodie to the pool this morning, and out of desperation, turned on the heat. I didn't want to, but it's downright freezing in here.
Someone, please remind Mother Nature what month this is and we're supposed to be warm at this time of year, not freezing like we were in fall headed to winter. I'm trying to save on my utility bill not raise it.
Okay, that's my rant. I hope summer comes on time and leaves on time and we can get these temps the way they're supposed to be.
How are the seasons by you? Are they normal? Thanks for reading.

@CarolDM As much as I like cooler weather, I also like the seasons in their place and a chance to turn down the heat and help my utility bill. This isn't helping. I'd like to see more seasonal temps.
I'm sorry the 90s will return in a few days.

It’s been hot and raining now and then. It sorbet feel like June I know that I guess it’s because school is out that it doesn’t feel that way.

It's the same here. Not quite as cold as you but way colder than I want it to be. Right now, it's 66 (19 C) with light rain and lots of wind. Tonight, we're supposed to have a low of 52 (11 C) and the days have been warmer lately but the nights have been cold like that for about a week.

@just4him I don't think it was a lot because there aren't the usual big puddles but it's been fairly steady all day and I assume since whenever it started.

We still get into the 50s at night. I don't mind that. I never turn the heat on at night, even in winter. I turn it down. I have enough blankets for my bed, I don't need the heat on too. But the days. This is crazy.
You got a lot of rain overnight, didn't you? At least it seemed like it when I saw the weather this morning.

It has been strange here. There are days when yes, you could turn on the heat and the days when it was in the 90's.

@just4him That is true there were a couple of mornings I was thinking about turning on the heat but, I just stayed under the covers with a cup of hot tea.

wishy-washy fer certain. we've 'd to 't times run the a/c'n the day (coz 'twas 80'n the house...) 'n then kick the heater'n fer a bit to break the chill 's the temps plummeted to the upper 30's that night. nope, not our normal 'verage. last winter, 2017, 'cross the state 'twas breakin' highs -'n the mid to upper 90's.

When you turned on the heat did you feel winter was back? We have summer and used to have spring and I guess fall too and then winter of course. I am not sure we have spring anymore. Usually 4 seasons in Jerusalem. Cannot tell you about other parts of Israel.

We are having a couple of days of Spring rather than our normal 97-98. I like that. I really feel that the seasons are shifting. We used to seldom have cold weather in April and now April is mainly cold. Then the cold weather did not hit us last year until December. Strange things happening. I think there is something to this Climate Change.

I think there is too. Usually, we're complaining about the heat by this time and how we didn't have spring and it rushed into summer. Not this year. This year we're wishing for the rain to stop and the temps to be a little warmer.

Your seasons are either following ours or leading ours down the same cold path. It's actually another el nino, which might be right after the last one that is causing so much precipitation and I'm sure that's where the cooler temps are coming from too. My thermometer currently says 70 but it feels more to me like 55. Yet, I refuse to turn on the heat this late in the season. I used to wear my coat inside, if needed I'd just pile on more blankets. I have turned the heat on in the car going to PT in the mornings, though, but that doesn't cost much extra.
I'm beginning to wonder if this will be the coolest summer on record. And, we'll have to pray that if the heat does show up it won't be scorching heat for too long.

@just4him can't you wrap yourself in a blanket rather than turning the heat on? If you get visitors you may have no choice but otherwise, just put more on

I think I've turned it on 4 times this month, and I'm turning on the car heater too in the morning. This morning I needed to turn on the back defrost to get the moisture off the back window. I really hope it won't be a scorcher and if so, as you said, doesn't last long.

@RubyHawk More rain. That's all it's been doing. We went from snow to rain. It's been a very wet year so far. I hope the weather warms up a little. I'm expecting it to be as hot as it was cold, which means very hot. I'm not looking forward to those hot temps. That's my prediction.
