Today was a lazy day for me, I did minimal cleaning and cooking.
I didnt really cook, I just put the creamed spinach in the microwave, I boiled the corn.
Dessert was a disappointment, fig newton bars. Dollar general brand and they were so dry!
See not everyone makes elaborate meals.

@andriaperry It is still a disappointment when you want something like that and then it doesn't turn out great!

It was just one of those days. I made cheese steak sandwiches. Quick and easy and very little to clean up.

@andriaperry Pork is rarely cooked here and yes while it is there Ido have a bit of it till it lasts - not everyday though

@andriaperry It was nice, and they literally have everything that you can imagine. And since its so busy there, the food never gets cold, they are constantly bringing more out. And their desserts......wow is about all that I can say!

I agree about those fig newton dollar store brand...they are really dry.
Yesterday was a fairly lazy day here too. Today I'm hoping to get some things accomplished

I won`t buy those anymore. I think I bought walmart brand and each row was in its own plastic cover, keeping them moist..

Our day was a little more elaborate. We hung out at the local pool with another family that we're close to, and grilled steak (for the dads) and burgers and vegetables. I attempted to roast baby potatoes on the grill, but I think next time I'm going to par-steam them before taking them over. They took an hour to cook!
We had mini cream puffs (from the grocery store freezer section) and shortbread cookies with raspberry and apricot jam thumbprints for dessert.

Last night we had meatballs (from the freezer) simmered in a tomato sauce with little sweet peppers, onions and fresh herbs. Served over a potato. I am trying to use up all the produce before we go on vacation. Rotten potatoes do not smell good to come home to.

My stomach was fully tight after having lunch on 16th. But I don't know all the items english names. So unable to write all the names. There were 5 to 6 items. So I ate only one piece of fish at night.
