Summer fun: What will you do?

We will use our pool if we get any sustained warmth. We will be doing a lot of driving grandkids around, it is that kind of a year.

I will do simply what I always do, play it by ear. Of course there will be trips planned, but this year is not a major one for vacation, so any trips will be spare of the moment.

Surely staying at home. We will make some daily trips in the area, a picnic by the lake, a hike up in the mountains, but back home to sleep.

My sister is not well so we are not camping. I am going to visit my daughter at her place and looking forward to see her and her partner and the chickens... She lives in a gorgeous wild are with lots of water and trails.

@PatZAnthony I do not have any special plans for Sophie and I this summer.

You said that with my family I am happy. You cannot always go out. But have plans for this weekend to go to have some evening walks.

I have got some time off work over the summer so I can spend time with my family (well, some of them). I have a plan to take my two sons on holiday to Spain for a week. Other than that, I'm going to an Escape Room with my partner, my youngest son, my sister, her partner, and my big nephew. I've got plans to take my little niece out for a day - she wants to go to soft play and McDonald's so that's an easy one! Then I need to make plans to do things with our other niece and nephews. I like to spend time with all of them.

In our office, during summer we have our summer outing just like what we did last June 14-15. In our family, we would also go to the beach to swim. Here in the Philippines, when it's summer , the beach resorts are all packed. Other than that, we just stay at home and watch TV or a movie from the net and make ourselves cool since it is so hot outside the house.

Summer is almost over here. It is still hot and sunny here but school is starting

Lots of weekend beach trips for me, but no big vacation plans since summer is my busy season at work (I manage our city's public swimming pools). I usually do all my traveling in the winter, which is perfectly fine with me since it's always much cooler than in the summer time!

I'm hoping to do some traveling up to Door County this summer. It's a hope though. It will depend on finances. I hope you have a good summer.

With just the two of us we don't really have to consider school holidays any longer although traffic can be thicker at those times.

Would love to go to the beach and just sit there watching the seagulls... Alas, summer comes with harsh sun, harsh sunlight, etc. And seagulls often mean hearing shriekings from them.

We have a lo tof work during my vacation so it won't be to much time for resting.

Summer is a good time for cycling and I'm loving using my bicycle to get my errands done. Great exercise!

Summer is the best time to go around?

Exploring the new town we live in. We have a list of things we want to see and do and we are crossing them off one by one!!

Other than seeing my foot and heart doctors, my relatives and myself will likely stay here until next year when there is a trip scheduled to go a beach in Beaumont Texas.

I wanna hit the road, road trip and just stop where ever.

Well last summer we went to the beach and after that we just stayed at home because there were activities we did during weekends.
